“ Had Mimmo's for the first time. I Had a pizza with the works and garlic knots. Everything was great. I love a good New York crust and I am happy we have one on the island now. Plus, a bonus as it is open Sundays, now I have my football season "go to" place! ”

“ Nice staff, decent food. I got a Sicilian slice and a regular cheese slice to try. The Sicilian had a bland taste, and the crust was too airy and light in weight to be considered anything close to NY or northern style pizza. I had to add garlic and a little salt to give it more flavor. The regular slice was much more balanced and had the proper heft when picking it up to eat, folded. This reminded me of a good NY slice and would be my go-to if I came back. Eying some other customers topped pizza, they looked very good with plenty of fresh toppings. There is an unannounced or advertised two regular slices and 20 oz soda for $10. Had I known, I would have gone for that. They should put a sign up so more people might know. Other than that, the inside was a bit dated and older looking, likely the styling of the previous pizza joint that had been here. I will be back to try other items. Grand opening should be soon as of this writing, but they are open now. Edit: went back per owner and tried a Sicilian slice. He explained that sowmoen else made the pie that day and was not to his standard. I will say, the 2nd time back, the Sicilian slice was better. It had more flavor and better texture. I still think the regular round slice it the way to go, but you can't go wrong either way. ”

“ Mimmo's Pizza in Merritt Island has authentic Italian/New York style pizza. The place is clean, cozy and friendly. They deliver and have large pizzas as well that remind me of Pizza on the Boardwalk in New Jersey and New York. I definitely give this place a five star for Pizza and welcoming atmosphere. ”

“ Was in the mood for some Italian food. Google searched for it and Mimmo’s popped up. Got a really wonderful warm welcome from the young lady with black hair working the register. Ordered the meatball sub and it was amazing! Loved it. Another gentleman checked on me to make sure I was good. And when I was leaving he got me a fresh paper bag to take the rest of my sub back to my hotel with me. Thanks for the great service and atmosphere and food. ”

“ This is our favorite pizza place. Best pizza around!! It’s a wonderful business with a great staff. I want to say that they are very honest. I accidentally handed the delivery driver a hundred dollar bill with some ones and she came back and knocked on my door to let me know. I hate to say this but there are people that would have just taken it. If you want the best pizza from some great people Mimmo’s is the place. You won’t want to go anywhere else. ”

“ I have had the best Italian food here that I have ever tasted, not just in Florida, but anywhere in my whole life, most of which was spent in Ny. This is real deal Italian food with real deal Italian flavor. The portions are generous and the owner and staff’s hospitality and eagerness to accommodate are warm, friendly and genuine. Mimmo’s is my only choice for Italian food when I’m in Florida. I’ve tried everywhere in Brevard, and nowhere else can compare. Mangia! ”
